Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Financial Functional Lead to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting systems, with a focus on implementing and optimizing financial software solutions. The Financial Functional Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial transformation projects, streamline processes, and ensure the accurate and efficient management of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of financial software solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate with finance teams to understand their business processes and provide innovative solutions for accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Manage the financial modules of ERP systems, such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and Cash Management
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of financial transformation projects, ensuring timely and high-quality execution
- Perform detailed business analysis and documentation of financial requirements and processes
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for financial systems
- Conduct user training and workshops to ensure effective use of the financial systems
- Liaise with stakeholders, including finance teams, IT departments, and vendors, to ensure successful project delivery and system maintenance
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in financial functional consulting or ERP implementation
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, including general accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and their financial modules
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering financial software implementations on time and within budget
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Financials or other major ERP systems
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Financials, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) are an advantage
- Familiarity with financial regulations and standards in the UAE and the Middle East

Salary: AED 250K - 265K annually
