Role & Summary:

We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with expertise in both manual and automated testing, who will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and writing automated scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing using tools like PyTest. You will also work closely with internal and external teams to identify and resolve issues while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and follow software testing methodologies, automation best practices, and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Conduct functional web automation testing for web applications, including the design and writing of automated scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing using PyTest or similar tools.
• Monitor results, log defects, and validate defect fixes.
• Develop and maintain an automation framework for ongoing projects.
• Collaborate closely with design and test teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform manual testing of web applications on the cloud.
• Provide periodic status and operational reports related to testing efforts.
• Work on and enhance different types of test automation frameworks.
• Investigate and analyze issues, distinguishing between application-related problems and automation script failures.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• 3-4 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years of manual testing and 1 year in automation testing using tools like PyTest.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC.
• Experience in functional and regression testing for web applications.
• Knowledge of API automation testing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• A passion for maintaining a high degree of quality and attention to detail.
