Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist who is fluent in Arabic to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in core purchasing, self-service procurement, sourcing, and supplier portal management. This role requires a deep understanding of SCM practices to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the core purchasing processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Implement and maintain self-service procurement systems to streamline purchasing activities and enhance user experience.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and select reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms.
- Administer the supplier portal, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with vendors.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and best practices.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international procurement regulations and standards.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports, metrics, and data to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide training and support to end-users on procurement systems and processes.
- Handle vendor inquiries and resolve issues related to procurement and supplier management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM is a plus).
- At least one project implementation is must.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in core purchasing, self-service procurement, sourcing, and supplier portal management.
- Strong knowledge of SCM practices, procurement processes, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with local procurement regulations and standards in the UAE.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling procurement data and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in SCM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Location: Abu Dhabi
Salary: AED 25-35 K per month
