Job Overview: Sr. Automation Test Engineer to test and automate Blockchain based application.   

Primary Skills:

• Implementing and executing automated scripts using, JavaScript/Typescript, Mocha, Jest and Chai and Python. Basics
• Perform API testing using automation tools.
• Responsible for testing DApps on blockchain (public chain, consortium chain), including testing frontend and backend functionality, interfaces, compatibility, stability, and security.
• Handle functional, performance, and security testing of smart contracts.
• Build testing environments, write test plans execute tests, and generate test reports.
• Collaborate with other functional teams to analyse the root causes of testing failures and implement corrective measures.
• Drive bug resolution and manage product versions and quality before and after release.

Good to have Skills:

• Familiarity with blockchain architecture concepts. 
• Familiarity with the design, coding, and performance testing optimization of distributed, multithreaded, and high-performance systems.
• Proficiency in the principles, mechanisms, and related encryption algorithms of blockchain.
• Understanding of various mainstream consensus algorithms, including but not limited to
  PoW, PoS,, etc.
• Usage of tools like Truffle and Hardhat for testing smart contracts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design, Develop, Execute and Maintenance of TC’s
• Defect Exploration, Failure Analysis and Reporting
• Defect Triage.
• Reporting work progress and risk, if any to the lead/manager
