Job Summary:

As an SAP S/4HANA Functional Bilingual Consultant, you will be a key member of our SAP implementation team, responsible for facilitating effective communication between our global SAP project team and Japanese-speaking stakeholders. You will work closely with business units in Japan to understand their requirements, design SAP solutions, configure the system, and provide guidance on best practices while ensuring a seamless transition to SAP S/4HANA.

Proficiency in both the Japanese and English languages, with strong communication and interpersonal skills is must for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the global SAP project team and Japanese-speaking business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business units in Japan to understand their business processes and requirements, and translate them into SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA to meet specific business needs, focusing on modules relevant to the Japanese operations.
• Design, document, and implement SAP processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency and compliance with Japanese regulations.
• Analyze and recommend SAP best practices to align with industry standards and business goals in the Japanese context.
• Assist in system integration, data migration, and localization efforts during SAP implementations or upgrades.
• Provide guidance on SAP security and authorization roles and responsibilities, ensuring compliance with Japanese data protection laws.
• Collaborate with SAP technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Create and deliver end-user training and documentation in both Japanese and English to facilitate user adoption.
• Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SAP S/4HANA configurations and resolve technical issues while offering support in Japanese.
• Stay current with SAP S/4HANA advancements and proactively recommend system enhancements and optimizations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP Functional Consultant with expertise in SAP S/4HANA, preferably in a bilingual setting.
• Proficiency in both the Japanese and English languages, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules relevant to the organization's Japanese operations (e.g., Finance, Logistics).
• Extensive experience in SAP configuration, customization, and business process mapping.
• Familiarity with Japanese business practices and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Project management skills and experience (a plus).
• SAP certification in relevant modules (a plus). 
• N2 or N3 certification in Japanese Language is must.
