Job Purpose:
To effectively manage the Ecommerce Platforms - Amazon, Flipkart, E-Bay etc..
Principal Accountabilities:
- To achieve agreed KPI’s on Ecommerce Platform by branding and maximizing sales.
- Maximizing profitability
- Managing stocks and operational performance
Key Activities:
- Monitoring and improvising the catalogue hygiene, profitability and service the Ecommerce channel with increased fill rate and reduced lead time.
- Plan and execute Ecommerce sales strategy for growth.
- Align and execute promotions as per Ecommerce strategy and overall business plan.
- Annual planning, TOT budgeting and Activation for named Ecommerce accounts.
- Negotiate TOTs with chains.
- Listing of new products across Ecommerce chains.
- Monitoring and improvising the financial hygiene, profitability and service the Ecommerce channel with increased fill rate and reduced lead time.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers
- Work very closely across all allied functions such as Supply, Commercial and IT to ensure the given agendas fall into place operationally as per aligned timelines.
- Forecasting, fulfillment, cancellations, returns, optimizing logistic cost, and complaints.
- Co-ordinating with e-commerce marketplaces SPOC's for planning sale & growth fundamentals.
- Track the Inventory and product listing according to sales and demand.
- Explore new business opportunities and generate sales leads effectively.
- Strategic Brand Engagement & Key Seller management- Leading partnership with key brands for Category and Operations-Working in tandem with sellers and supply chain team to manage ops SLAs for the category.
- Identify B2B/B2C market demand and develop products accordingly.
- Arrange meetings with new and prospective Brands and introduce a complete range of products.
- Exercise responsibility for the achievement of monthly/Quarterly GMV targets fixed by the management.
- Generate business from existing vendors.
- Co-ordinate with Vendor Service desk, Operations, and Legal & Marketing department.
- Analyze market trends and detect effective measures for penetrating business.
- Plan the sales funnel for projected business targets.
- Launch new categories and manage inventory operations team, catalog team, and social media team.
- Supervising the e-commerce department and allocating tasks to the staff.
- Create a launching plan for new products accounting for e-commerce trends.
- Researching to understand the demographic targets, search engine traffic, media buying, etc.
- Marketplace product promotions (launching campaign, product discount, sponsor).
- Demonstrating project strategies and plans to the higher officials.
- Research new trending products and categories according to the e-commerce market.
- Create and maintain an online business plan.
- Staying up to date on software or data trends.
- Keep current knowledge of online trends.
- Provide analytic reports of online sales.
- Maintaining Universal Inventory & Stock Management via Unicommerce/OMS.
- Ensuring Stock reconciliation regularly.
Education & Qualification:
- Good IT skills, knowledge of Amazon data preferably have dealt with Amazon / FlipKart or other E-commerce platforms
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent Communication skills
