Job Purpose:   

Oversee all SEO activities for the B2C websites through optimising the content on site including but not limited to Content Pages, Blog, Product Listing Pages and Product Description Pages to:

• Deliver & improve Google Search page rankings to drive additional traffic to all sites 
• Benefit PPC bidding strategies to deliver improved ROAS
• Increase website and conversion and ecommerce sales.
• Roll out key learns and initiatives across all relevant websites

Principal Accountabilities & Key Activities :

Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization

• Ensure all PDP, PLP and Content pages contain relevant key words

Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities

• Undertake Keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. 
• Develop benchmarking reporting to show where sites rank on google for key words and monitor monthly performance on these terms with where the sites rank to show improvements as result of work undertaken.
• Research and analyse competitor advertising links.

Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success

• Develop and implement link building strategy.
• Resolve hyperlinks on the website going to other URLs which are invalid, have moved or no longer exist. Fix inbound links from offsite which should be 301 redirected in order to recapture equity.

Content Creation for B2C sites 

• Lead & Maintain Blogs across sites 
• Blog integration to websites
• Ensure that key words are embedded into Content pages across the sites

Technical management Of the B2C sites

• Manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI.
• Site Architecture (Website Taxonomy) review and implementation
• Maintenance of XML Site Map
• Provision of HTML and CSS code where needed 

Collaborative working 

• Work with Digital team to ensure SEO best practices properly implemented on newly developed code
• Work with Digital team to ensure that key learns from SEO are leveraged to improve PPC bidding strategies.
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.

Qualification & Experience :

Essential

• Great copy writing skills
• Proven SEO experience
• Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing.
• Ability to HTML/CSS code
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, WebTrends)
• Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
• Degree with analytical quantitative, test-driven field background

Desirable

• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
• Knowledge of AGILE ways of working and principles
• Experience on Shopify platform
