Roles & Responsibilities

As a Senior QA Engineer, you are expected to quickly onboard on the project and deliver on testing tasks (manual and automation) planned as part of the sprints in agile development process. You need to be self-organized and should be self-sufficient enough to work with minimum mentoring and supervision. Understand customer scenarios and requirements to validate the best solution. Design and develop high quality test automation to increase regression coverage. Continuously raise the bar for QA practices and need to be abreast with the latest technologies both in the company and industry and be able to utilize them to good effect. Train and mentor other members of the quality team on automation.

Responsibilities

• 4 to 8 years of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer or developer on agile teams.
• Experienced in manual, automation and load testing.
• Sound understanding of Agile, QA methodologies and SDLC.
• Good experience in developing and testing on a low coding platform
• Web and/or desktop application automation framework, preferably using Selenium or WinAppDriver

Qualifications:

• BE/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
• Strong coding skills (Java or Python) in addition to QA Automation
• Experience working in a DevOps environment, with a good understanding of low coding platform
• Prior experience in HR domain is a plus
• Prior experience testing cloud-based applications or working on an enterprise product
• Strength in various automation testing tools: Selenium, WebDriver, JMeter, SoapUI or similar
• Experience of 3 years in at least one programming and scripting language (Java, JavaScript, Python, or Visual Basic).
• Experience in SQL and SOA.
• Solid understanding of HTTP, HTTPS protocols, JavaScript and XML (XML Schemas, XPath, XSLT, etc.)
• Good knowledge in Selenium Automation
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Strong written and oral communication and collaboration skills, ability to collaborate effectively in team, across team and with management and other disciplines

Shift Timing - Shift time either US East coast or west coast (2:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST or 5 to 2 AM IST)
