Frontend Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Front-End Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. The developer would work with

the UI/UX designer and bridge the gaps between graphical design and technical implementation. Successful candidates will work on building next-gen web applications and will have to build up UI layers that are highly responsive, and beautiful and should be able to work for large-scale consumer sites and mobile app

Essential Qualifications

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent Industry experience

• At least 3 years of prior hands-on experience in building responsive web interfaces at scale for consumers in a product engineering setup

• Strong development experience in the following technologies - HTML5, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, working with REST APIs

• Strong hands-on JSON and Web Services, Front end frameworks/libraries such as ReactNative, Redux, Web standards, Responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility, SEO

• A high level of experience with UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS Grid system

• Experience building web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and tools like React and Redux

• Experience with AWS technologies like API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and others

• Excellent communication skills, good visual design sense, in-depth experience in developing web-based applications

• Practical experience with engineering best practices

• To build next-generation web applications which are efficient, reusable front-end abstractions and systems

• Explore and design dynamic and compelling consumer experiences

• Work closely with designers to implement versatile front-end solutions while embracing emerging standards

• Actively participate in design and code reviews to build robust applications and prototypes

• Analyze system function and performance requirements to support design concepts

• Constantly and consistently implementing new features and optimizing existing ones from the controller- level to UI Vigilantly and rapidly fix bugs

• Continuously solving problems to give our customers a delightful shopping experience

• Work closely with Product managers, UX designers, and back-end engineers to implement frontend solutions

• Responsible for creating POCs to design a scalable system

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Work in a fast-paced and agile development environment

• Interacting with other team members to passionately collaborate our innovations with teams
