UX Designer

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Specific Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in discussions to understand user requirements, product specifications, and user psychology
• Being responsible for Scaling, Performance & Quality of the product.
• Communicate design ideas and prototypes to cross-functioning team
• Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends
• Be the primary owner of the design from start to end

Technical Competencies and Qualifications:

• Good communication & presentation skills are required to demonstrate designs to cross-functioning teams in a storytelling mode.
• Strong understanding of Research methodologies, User Interviewing techniques
• Strong understanding of UX design processes, Usability best practices, Usability Principles, and UI patterns
• Strong knowledge of Interaction design principles including digital and conventional prototyping.
• Experiential knowledge of conducting User Testing Sessions (remote and in-person).
• Close collaboration with front-end developers to ensure quality and consistency after design hand-off.
• A great attitude towards co-workers and management to put forth requirements, and observations in a professional manner.
• A quick learner of industry products, and process ecosystems to translate global know-how to specific scenarios thereby maintaining the overall idea of a suite design
• Strong knowledge of Design Systems, importance & implementation protocols.
• Great sense of Visual Design and Visual Communication, an eye for detail
• Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
