ROLE PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for operating the GAS Bank reconciler function strictly following the rules of General Procedures and SOPs reflecting the statutory requirements of specific countries based on the Service Level Agreement with the GBS customers.
Key Objectives:
- Completing bank reconciliations and follow up & resolving open items.
- Usage of Cash management module of ERP system.
- Matching the content of the received bank statement to the AP and AR subsystems then categorization and entering to the GL
- Contact the location of the miscellaneous payments or receipts.
- Matching and reconciliation of the bank statements and general ledger accounts/technical bank accounts to the stage when the monthly closing starts.
- Fixed assets request handling (Additions/Capitalization/Retirement/Transfers), FA reconciliations, identifying differences and resolving.
- Balance sheet account reconciliation and check of specified accounts. (Blackline)
- Month end closing and other reporting task
- Regular contact and cooperation with the locations.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the GAS processes
- Fully comply with the documented policies ensuring full audit compliance.
- Additional areas: Supporting the Supervisor with team management tasks, project management, monitoring, controlling and reporting tasks.
- Supporting the team members on routine basis and mentoring and coaching them.
Work Experience: 5+ years in finance or BA in business administration
Education: Secondary school certificate specialized in finance and accounting.
Licensing/Certification: Chartered Accountant-is an advantage
Functional Knowledge: Knowledge of finance and accounting
Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of integrated financial software.
Language: Fluent English
