Working as an SAP ABAP Lead Developer in the IT department you will be working closely with the SAP functional architect and SAP systems analysts and other IT delivery teams to develop enhancements to ECC 6.0. This will include workflow development and WEB Dynpro development.

Job Role

• Interact with the Architects, Analysts and other IT delivery teams to understand the functional requirements and convert that into technical specifications.
• Develop and implement ECC using ABAP technology for BAU and small change aligned to SAP standard.
• Provide technical input to projects delivering SAP changes to support initial project planning and estimation process.
• Liaise with our SAP Support Partner to enable transition of changes into BAU support by providing technical knowledge transfer and supporting technical documentation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete technical specifications.
• Develop ABAP enhancements as per the design document requirements (workflow, WEB Dynpro, PI for interfaces)
• Provide technical feedback to the SAP architect and SAP systems analyst
• Support the Unit testing and Integration Testing cycles.
• Integrate with the BW technical team where required.
• Skills & Competencies
• People have experience with other modules such as MM, SD, PS & FI
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills including teamwork and facilitation
• Excellent technical ability to develop programs in Interface development
• Able to meet tight deadlines
• Diligent, dependable with strong integrity
• Working knowledge of HANA will be a plus
• PI development for interfaces will be an added advantage (nice to have).
